Hello! I'm new in this forum. I would like to share my situation and ask what is the best thing to do. I graduated 2 yrs ago and ever since I didn't work yet because the thing I would love to do and enjoys doing it is traveling! I sometimes think I need to get a job soon so that I can have my own money for my travel expenses. But fortunately, my parents are very supportive of my dream which is to travel the world. And the best thing is that, they are not pressuring me to get a job soon! Am i doing the right thing?

Yeah you're doing the right thing! Travel now and then you'll find a good job, travelling helps to improve and teachs you a lot. Who knows maybe it's the only chance to make your dreams about RTW trip come true

So good luck!

Thanks for the advice! Hopefully I can find a job that requires traveling a lot:) But I don't think that can happen because my course is very far from my dream job! And btw I just came from Seoul again and planning where will be my next journey haha

i agree. travel as much as you can BUT suggest you inform your parents how long you plan on traveling. Parents always are supportive to their kids, but they also worries about you when your traveling around the world. They worry about your future (whether you will work, own your on place, and have on going money in your bank account)and that you'll eventually settle down. Communication is the KEY. tell them at what age you want to be back and actually go back to work.

For myself, I travelled for a few month after i graduated (less than 3 month), then worked and worked.i haven't had a chance to do the round the world trip that i always wanted. Its been 10 years since i graduated. but with all the money i've been pouring on my home, i hope that within 8 years, i'll be done with that and be traveling the world knowing my home is paid and i can relax a bit. I travel every year to an international city. But never more than 3 weeks/year.

So enjoy your travel! You've been at it for 2 years. How long do you plan on continuing on the road?

Hello! Thanks for that! I know I should probably start thinking about my future. Anyways I'm going to put up my own business here in my town! Its either a cafe or a convenience store. I'm going to start earning for a living :)
