I just got to this website, and I will properly introduce myself soon, but my username is my first name, and I'm travelling to T.O. I have a question about hostels. Where is the Toronto HI? Are there any hostels in the financial district (CIBC, etc.)? Is Planet Traveller a good, safe hostel for a woman who is pregnant? Which hostel has the best conections to the metro?
Also, how do you get to Kensington Market? I heard it is very difficult to find. The last time I was in T.O., I ran into a dummy market with four stalls near North York. I was sure, even though locals asssured me it was it, that wasn't it.
When does the CN Tower run tours?
When is T.O. going to get the Olympics (Can't you help but think this when you're there)?
Well, I hope you can help! Greetings from South Africa

You can see HI Toronto on a map here (scroll right down) - it's at 76 Church Street
What makes a hostel good for a pregnant female specifically? We travelled while my wife was pregnant and I don't recall any specific things that we looked for in accommodation. I guess the only thing I could think of is that you might want to have a private room with a bathroom in case morning sickness is an issue. In which case it looks like Planet Traveler has that option.
Can't really help on the other questions, but a bit of googling will surely bring up the answers.
1.) The Toronto HI is downtown, only a few blocks east of the Financial District.
2.) I'm not aware of any hostels in the Financial District. In any case that neighbourhood is kinda boring.
3.) Planet Traveler is fine. It's located in a great neighbourhood, but much further from the Financial District than the Toronto HI.
4.) Kensington Market is not difficult to find, it's one of the most famous places in Toronto. Planet Traveler is located right beside it.
5.) CN Tower.
