With previous travel blogs we have written, on another site, it is possible, with a click of the mouse, to turn our blog into a hardcover book. Does Travellerspoint have the same feature? If not, are there suggestions for doing such a thing? I would like to try this site, but turning the blog into a book at the end of our journey is very important.
There is an option to turn your blog into a PDF. It may not be the fanciest book layout ever, but it does work. You would have to find a printer to print it at though.
Bummer. So, back to Travel Pod it is! I was looking forward to trying Travellerspoint, but if I can't turn my blog into a book at the end of our journey, then it is a waste of time. That might be something the powers that be at Travellerspoint look into.
I was recommended the site www.intorealpages.com but am finding it difficult to load things sometimes, they are fast to respond, but in my first blog, I lost all the maps when loading. Also once I saw the book layout I wanted to resize the pictures and I would have to do that on the blog manually... so it is not perfect, but you can give it a try.
@McCaffreyD, If you managed to create a printed one in the end, I'd be interested to know what the end result was like!
Ha, I haven't yet, but am very close. I wrote another blog and wanted to create one more and have them printed together and sent over in one parcel to save on logistics. Will let you know.
Great, if it turns out nice, I'd like to work on making it a bit easier for intorealpages integration. They seem like a good option for this kind of thing
Hi I have just received my Intorealpages prints/books of the blog, I have several complaints and I am not 100% sure which stuff is the fault of "who", meaning: some may be my own mistakes, some may be a problem of the transfer from the blog site to the html file, some may be the transfer of the html file into the real book and some is definitely bugs of Intorealpages. I would like to include you into the email I plan to send Intorealpages - firstly I would like them to fix it and send a better copy, secondly I want to make the effort to help them fix whatever problems they have or anyone. Thanks!
