I didn't really "met" her, but I've seen Naomi Campbell (the top model), shopping at the Galleries Lafayette (!) in Paris, back in 1996... Pure coincidence... My mum and I were looking at that very elegant woman wondering why she looked familiar!

You might be surprised, Noe.
And, we won't know that until you name them.

...sorry, I didn't mean to offend anyone!

I have been to a couple of master classes given by Diana Soviero, soprano, when she was teaching (in between performances) in Montreal.

Then, José Van Dam, baritone-bass, also gave a master class at the Université de Montreal, and then a concert... I went backstage to ask him an autograph! (there are some people who get older really nicely...;) )

I sang for Aline Kutan, soprano, at a master class.

Nicole Lorange, soprano, was part of the jury for my final-graduating-exam-recital... (I don't remember the name of the others )

Wow! Everyone's met such interesting people!

Let's see, in music I've met Aerosmith (Steven Tyler is the best!), AdRock from the Beastie Boys, Foo Fighters, Collective Soul, Robbie Williams, Gavin Rosedale from Bush, Green Day. As for Canadian music stars: Our Lady Peace, I Mother Earth, Moist, Age of Electric, Sloan, the Tea Party.

I haven't met many actors/comedians, just Janeane Garofalo and Joey Elias. I saw Carson Daly on the street. I've met a lot of Canadian politicians, but that just comes with the job!

I've met quite a lot of sports stars: Chris Chelios, Guy Charbonneau and the entire 1989-90 Montreal Canadiens; Maurice Richard, Jean Believeau, Boom Boom Geofreon, Scotty Bowman, Vladimir Tretiak and many other old hockey greats; Saku Koivu, Igor Kravchuck, Pierre Turgeon, Martin Brodeur, and other present-day players (I guess Chelios can be included in that bunch then). Eric Gange, Frank Robinson, Andres Galarraga, Vladimir Guererro, and many other baseball players in the league in the 2002 season (all of the Expos). I've met most of the Montreal Alouettes of CFL football fame. I've also met the legendary hockey announcer Dick Irvin and had a long conversation with him about the state of hockey broadcasting and his career, which was great!
