Matt, how is it possible to hate Terry Pratchett?

I took the piss out of his watch at a book signing, we've had arguments every meeting since at the.......(yes occassionally i like to divulge in the geeky world) conventions.

Steve Irwin's very laid back, he's not crazy and jumping on anything that moves. Although bet you gals wish he did
Met him at the Wild animal park i worked at. He was taking my babies to the Gabon as a relocation program. (Gorillas)

Oh yeah, and Jonathan Woss lives across the feild from me, showed him the way to the baked beans when i worked at Sainsbury's. Oh and David Baddiel oh not forgetting Shane Richie.

I'm sure Terry would have something to say about that!

It sounds like a very cool experience Matt! I envy you the experience of working with the gorillas, and meeting the infamous Croc Hunter.

When i was 11 years old, i won a contest on the CBC radio and got the chance to interview J.K.Rowling.... author of the Harry Potter series...!! i called in on the phone line and asked one question that i would love to ask her...(my question was: how can one series of books affect so many readers, and especially non-readers, yet at the same time, school boards are banning them from their curriculum?)
anyways, i was chosen as one of six finalists, and then my name was drawn out of a hat, and i got to interview her...
...she was incredibly down to earth, for a woman of so much fame... i made her some jewellery and bought her a bunch of "canadian" gifts, and she sat down and took a lot of time to look through everything with me, and listen to what i had to say...
it was an amazing experience and i will never forget it...!!!

I've met two, both in the LA area of southern Cali. I met Marlin Brando at The Hat (it's a sandwich joint with great pastrami), and I met Gene Simmons from the rockband Kiss at work. I worked at a glass shop and I cut a piece of glass for him. I didn't know it was him until I ran his credit card and saw his name. I told him I was a big fan, even though I'm not.

I met some high officials in the European Union and NATO(eg.Romano Prodi), and some ambassadors like the British ambassador in Denmark(she was the ambassador in China when HK was returned). I don`t know if they can be classified as famous, but I see their faces sometimes in TV news.

You might be surprised, Noe.
And, we won't know that until you name them.

...sorry, I didn't mean to offend anyone!

I have been to a couple of master classes given by Diana Soviero, soprano, when she was teaching (in between performances) in Montreal.

Nicole Lorange, soprano, was part of the jury for my final-graduating-exam-recital... (I don't remember the name of the others )

No apologies, Noe!!! You didn't offend anyone! Especially not me!

But, see there are 2 that I recognize and that is really cool.

Does "Magic Johnson" count? I met him in Las vegas right after he (and the Lakers) had won the NBA championship, he was in a very good mode.
