Hey, so I've been in Oz for about 4 months now, looking to get started on my farm work to try and save some money, but that's where I'm struggling.

Does anyone have any recommendations for good working hostels? I don't want to rock up to one that hasn't been recommended to me because I can't afford to wait around too long for work.

So any idea of hostels that provide work fairly quickly? Anywhere you managed to save money? Somewhere that doesn't mess you around and ideally pays by the hour!

You here about people saving all this money while farming but never get told where they worked, so if you were one of those fortunate people to save loads while farming please let me know where you went!

There is a town called Shepparton in Victoria that often has lots of fruit picking on orchards and dairy farm work around, this includes its surrounding areas like Mooroopna, Ardmona and Tatura. I am not sure about local hostels organising work, but it might be a good place to check out for a start :)

Thank you! I'm actually very near to there at the moment so I'll check all of those places out
