Hi,

I'm flying from Manchester in January on my own to Melbourne....
Flights are booked and I've applied for my visa! I'm sorting the insurance out this next week! Would anyone recommend anywhere to get cheap good insurance from?? I've been quoted a wide range if insurances but I want one which will cover for practically everything

I'm spending the first month with the family who live there as I've not met any of them yet and I want to see it as a holiday....Also who else would be in Melbourne around February time and would want to start travelling up the east coast?

James

Hi Mate,

I am travelling to Perth on Jan 18th...
When you are done we should meet up sometime for a beer?

What are your plans for the trip and how long are you looking to stay?

Let me know about insurance and stuff as I need to sort mine as well.

Any one else who comments can also come for a beer

Hi mate,

My plans for the trip are to start in Melbourne and then travel up the east coast and then find some work for a couple of months, after that travel up the west coast then carry on working....
Be good to go for a drink!!
You will have to keep in touch and meet up over there

Sounds good James.

Seems like a good plan and you have already worked it out.
Probably message you nearer the time and see what the crack is.

Hey I'm flying into Sydney at the start of February and I got my insurance through sta travel a couple of weeks ago as they had 10% off, my is the standard package and cost £400 for a year, but this one is extendable for a second year, which is the main reason I got mine from sta

just make sure youre completely covered, sometimes they miss out the fact that if you do adventure activities youre not covered...i would just double check

Hey, I've been looking around at insurance as I think the insurance with STA travel is to expensive for what you get! I've found a company called explorer who do travellers insurance for £162 for the year and covers me for everything over there so I think I am going to go with them
