inloviduals has indicated that this thread is about Aegean Turkey

hi,

I'm visiting Turkey for 5 days. After this I will be taking Aegean airlines to visit Santorini, Greece for 5 days.
Then I would be returning Istanbul Ataturk airport in the afternoon & in the evening taking a connecting Turkish airline flight back to India.

I would need to collect bags from Aegean airlines and then check-in to Turkish airlines, do I need visa for this ?

Thanks in advance.

You won't need a transit visa as you will already have your Turkish tourist visa.

The tourist visa is valid for 90 days.

I will have a single entry tourist visa. When I leave for Greece , wudnt they stamp it and it won't be active anymore ?

I'm not sure if the Turkey tourist visa allows for multi-entry. Its probably not an issue if you don't leave the airport for your connection. The Turkey Visa site: www.evisa.gov.tr/en is very helpful and should provide a good answer for you.

A standard tourist visa is multiple entry, as long as you don't spend more than 90 days there within a 180 day period. I've travelled to Turkey 3 times on the same visa before.

Although if you're from India, I'm not sure of the type of visa they issue and if this is just a single entry.

Best to check with the Turkish Embassy where you live or the website simpletrippin has suggested :)
