Living:

2) Heinrich Harrer (the real life explorer from Seven Years in Tibet)
Dead:

What do you know...I watched that movie last night, yes again...yes for the 3rd time. Extremely interesting...but he is still alive???

Yeap...I think he currenty lives in Liechtenstein (doesn't seem like it should be so hard to find a person in Liechtenstein...maybe I should just go there and look for him :). He's 92, soon to be 93, and still very good friends with the Dalai Lama.

He also has a museum in his hometown in Austria:

Heinrich-Harrer-Museum
Museum

Bahnhofstra├če 12
9375 H├╝ttenberg

That's a great movie (one of the few that I actually own).

In no particular order...

Living:
- Barbara Walters - one of the most successful female journalists ever, and she worked her way up from the days when women had to cover stories about cats and pantihose. I would love to see how she structures her interview notes.
- John Stewart...hilarious guy and great political insight.
- Michael Moore...would like to find out more about how he approaches documentary film making and talk politics.

Now I have a few people I'd like to meet purely because I think they're attractive...Phil Keoghan from the Amazing Race, Cameron Mathison ("Ryan") from All My Children, Chris Noth from Sex and the City and Law & Order, George Strombolopolous of CBC/Much Music fame, Brendan Shanahan from the Detroit Red Wings, the list goes on...

Dead:
- Jimi Hendrix...was one of the reasons I started playing guitar, and would like to pick his brain about a few things.
- Shaekespere...would like a peak into a literary genius.
- Leonardo da Vinci...he was so bright on so many levels.
- Vincent Van Gogh..my fave painter.
- Lee Harvey Oswald...did he do it?

(well, that's more than three! :) )

Wow, maybe we should all live in Tibet for about seven years...I think I just found my new fountain of youth...

And meeting the Dalai Lama will just be my added plus!
