Hi, my name is Adrian. We are looking to meet up, house sit or couch surf with anyone who is about. I have written the dates we will be in certain places at the bottom. If there are any tips on travelling cheap please let me know
Me and my friend are from England and going on an adventure round Europe working our way from Denmark to Spain trying to learn and experience as much as we can. We will be passing through Sweden, Germany, Prague, Italy, Spain and possibly Portugal and France. We are wanting an enlightening travel experience and look forward to meeting any welcoming people along the way. Our aim and challenge is to travel as cheap and as light as possible to really experience as much of the culture as we can in what little time we have (3 months).
Are there any recommendations for how we could save money on transport (bikes?), food (cheapest?), alcohol?, things to buy and sell, jobs to apply for? odd job web sites? any ways of making money at all etc...
Any help would be really appreciated!
June 10th 2015 Denmark n Sweden – Copenhagen/denmark-
14th July Turin
28th July Valencia.
If anyone can help out with accomodating or meeting up with us at any of these places, please feel free to contact me on this post.
I don't know why, but it looks like your post triggered one of the rare false positives for our automatic spam-detection algorithm. Sorry about that! It should be visible again as soon as the responsible moderator for this forum looks in.
Meanwhile, here's two comments from me concerning your itinerary:
This order does not really make sense geographically. Berlin, Dresden, Prague, Frankfurt, Munich would be a much more logical order. Additionally, I'd recommend dropping Frankfurt entirely. Not a very interesting city to visit, while two extra days in Berlin would not be amiss at all. (Prague probably also could do with more days, especially since it'll be a relatively long travel day to get from there to either Frankfurt or Munich.) Or if you really want to cram in cities, then in that part of Germany (very loosely), I'd recommend Köln, Stuttgart, Trier, Würzburg or Mainz.
14th July Turin
I've never been to Milan myself, but am wondering why you'd want to spend over two weeks there. It doesn't exactly resonate with me as a stand-out destination...

Hi there sorry i have taken so long to get back to you.
I am staying with friends in Denmark, Milan, Valencia, Madrid and possibly Frankfurt. However, I am thinking about cutting Frankfurt out now. Was only because a friend is there. We will be road tripping from valencia and Milan all round.
I am looking for jobs in places at the moment. That is my main dilemma. Even just fruit picking or manual labour. I have a C.V. well documented in terms of work experience and qualifications in the fitness industry. I have also spent the past 6 months getting odd jobs to have a variation of jobs on my C.V. Even working somewhere for accomodation as a last resort would be useful.
You could try workaway.info if you're looking for work for accomodation & usually food!
