Helloooo everyone,

I'm Lyndon and back in December last year I went to Oz on a working holiday visa, had an amazing time doing the east coast and meeting people but then I messed up by spending all my money!

Currently in the UK and I'm planning on flying back out to Australia mid July to do my fruit picking work straight away so I can get my 2nd year visa before time runs out,

Looking to go to any farm in Australia with an hourly rate so we don't get ripped off, so who's up for 3 months of great laughs picking fruit all day!

Wanting a friend to do this with as im coming out on my own again, so don't hesitate to reply and we can get chatting and add each other as friends on Facebook.

Cheers, Lyndon.

May I ask how much money you took, and how long that lasted you? I tend to advice people here to count on a minimum budget of AUD $80/day when living frugally, and that it can easily double if you're not careful watching your money, but it's been quite a while again since I last was in Australia, so it'd be good to get some idea of what people are actually spending nowadays...

Good luck with the fruit picking, and finding a buddy for it! (Just in case: Are you aware of the Harvest Guide? If not, downloadable from the harvest trail website, and should give you a good idea of where to go to find work come July.)

Alright Fella

I'm heading over to Sydney on the 15th July solo, booked onto Ultimate OZ Sydney trip for a week then I'm winging it from there with a similar intention as yourself.

Where you planning on starting?

Cheers Jay.
