While I was not logged as in a TP Member, I used the search function to to photos in have uploaded. I just clicked the down arrow for photos and entered the criteria as 'hasbeen'. There is no result.
I did another search for 'All Areas" - still no photos but I did spot 'Members' at the bottom. That took me to my profile where I was able to then choose to see 'more photos by hasbeen'

I have no idea why those photos appeared - it seems a bit random.

When I click 'Start Slideshow' nothing happens even when I wait a while.

I thought maybe that function is only available to members so I logged on & tried the whole sequence again.

Still no luck. No Slide show. And quite difficult to find 'My Photos' or anyone elses.

I believe the search function looks at the title, description, tags and location of each photo. Indeed not to the username of who uploaded it, so it makes sense that your photos couldn't be found through searching for your username. (You can test searching for the title of one of your photos which you uploaded more than a day ago, for example P1310193, and see that it indeed appears, or search by location Mindelo, Cape Verde, and also see many of your photos appear.)

If someone is explicitly looking for something you did, then your profile is what they want to find, for that'll give an entrance to just your photo gallery. (Your username is reasonably unique, but consider someone like Utrecht - people searching for photos of the city Utrecht wouldn't want to find the photos from all his travels, and likewise people searching for the photos of his travels wouldn't want to find all the photos of the city Utrecht.)

As for the slideshow, this made use of PicLens, which has some relation to CoolIrc, which was acquired by Yahoo last November. And of course, as with all such acquisitions, and original product appears to have been immediately discontinued. (At least, a request for gets aborted...) So I guess the slideshow functionality should be removed, or replaced with another implementation by someone else...

I probably need to make some improvements to the search interface one of these days :)

Thanks for the heads up on the slideshow. I'm going to have to remove that for now. I don't think it was really a widely used feature in any case.
