Some of my first vivid memories were of being taken to the beach in Sydney, Australia as a small child. (My favourite beach then was Coogee). Body surfing with a little "zippy" kickboard would keep me amused for hours in the whitewash near the shore. I noticed many other people (young & old) frolicking around, and just generally enjoying themselves and each other.
I also noticed all the different shapes & sizes of people on the beach. Bikinis had been made legal at that time in history. But, in today's western world of "political correctness", is it more appropriate to quietly chastise yourself for sensing pleasure through "eye candy" on display ?
No harm in eyeing off the candy Wocca, but for me I just study the menu but dine at home
I always think of the human body as art. You can look at it, you can appreciate it, you can think about it anytime you want. You just can't touch it
Joz, if you hung out on some of the beaches I was at in Spain, the words "human body" and "art form" would nevr cohabit a sentence of yours again! *shudder*
I know what you are saying though....I am fascinated by the human body (even the male one ) The female form is especially beautiful. But for me, the difference between naked and nude is significant. Both are minus the trappings of clothing but a nude is all soft lines and shadows and protected by the mantle of Art. Naked is just...well...right ther, in your face, bare assed....still beuatiful...but you get what I mean (??)
LOL! Yeah, I think I understand...sometimes you wish you could UNsee something! hehehe...I took art classes for a few years...The female body is soft and rounded, males tend to be more angular. But I have to be honest...I prefer men with a little meat on their bones
Eye candy, haha, we call it eye icecream here. Now I know that western men still have some feelings when they see sexy women on the beach. I thought they had got used to it and wouldn`t pay special attention.
In Europe, I saw girls in extremely tight top without wearing bras in a street or on a bus, and I couldn`t help observing the faces of men. Most of the times, I found no expression on their face. This has almost been a puzzle to me until right now.
The smart western men learn to look expressionless whilst their minds run & heartbeats fasten
Women are masters at this also
Not that I would know that personally...my virgin eyes and all...
