You can book direct from the hotel too. Off season for some cheap hotels you can book the room (or rooms) in person.

Anytime you want hotel help you should include a price range. There are hotels that are convenient for using the Skytrain together with the Airport Rail Link if landing at Suvarnabhumi. Many tourists who ask for an apartment are staying longer than a day or two and maybe have kids to cook for.

If you are going to be in Bangkok for a long time you can stay in a cheap hotel and check out apartments at your leisure. Not all cheap apartments are in good locations. Some cheap apartments want a lease and a security deposit. Only a few days use a hotel in a known area with reliable transportation and restaurants, pubs and supermarkets you can walk to.

Although my preference would be a hotel on the Skytrain route this place in the KSR area seems to offer a lot. Rambuttri Village Inn.

Only you will know if this place is too expensive for your budget. (If more than two people in same room additional charges may apply.)
