My list is very different for next year world tour. It is like this -
5. Great Britain
You have one year to plan your journey which is pretty much. You can watch travel videos and buy detailed road maps for each country so that you can not skip any tourist attractions. I wish you have a happy and very safe journey together.
I am assuming you live in the UK and this is a list of the route the way round the world you are traveling.
I have not checked out the weather I hope you have, But I would have done the trip the other way round traveling to the Indian ocean region and Asia first onto NZ and then South American.
How long are you traveling for?
There are a lot of countries on your list and to do them justice you need to stay and enjoy these countries.
There are so many questions I could ask you don't really know where to start but hope you have done your research well and done the costing and have a healthy budget.
If you are thinking of working on route, be careful if you don't have the appropriate visa you could be deported if found out back to the country you traveled from.
Do you have your Malaria tablets and had your jabs?
Visa are expensive have you budgeted for them.
Be very careful safety wise, don't flaunt you wealth, keep your camera hidden when not using it especially in South America.
Put your day pack on your front not back.
Don't believe everything people say and be sensible in some areas at night.
Get your maps from the tourist office first thing and ask which areas of a city you should avoid.
In all our years of traveling the only times we have things stolen was in Ecuador and Dominica in the Caribbean.
The world is an amazing place to visit if you are well prepared you should have a brilliant time but keep safe out there.
We are leaving next Monday but just for a month this time.
