My sister and I are travelling from Los Angeles to Europe June-July 2016. I've made a travel plan for us over a 30 day period. We will be staying in each destination for 2 nights. Please have a look at the list below and let me know if you recommend passing up certain destinations to spend more time in others. We are trying to keep the trip as close to 30 days as possible. Thank you so much!
1. Edinburgh, Scotland
2. London, England
3. Paris, France
4. Amsterdam, Netherlands
5. Berlin, Germany
6. Prague, Czech Republic
7. Oswiecim, Poland (Auschwitz memorial)
8. Vienna, Austria
9. Split, Croatia
10. Rome, Italy
11. Tuscany, Italy
12. Venice, Italy
13. Swiss Alps, Switzerland
15. Barcelona, Spain

Most of these places take most of a day to get to from the previous place. That means that with two nights staying in each, you'll have a travel pattern of one day on the road, one day to futilely try to see a city which needs anywhere from three to five days to see properly.
You're also not giving yourself any rest time at all. By the end of the second week, expect to be utterly exhausted from being constantly on the move, with an overloaded brain incapable of processing any new input.
My recommendation: Cut this itinerary in half. Decide which half you like better. Do just that half, staying four nights in each destination. Come back next year for the other half.
Better to do the northern part + the Alps in summer and keep the Mediterranean section for another trip in April-May or September: too hot and too crowdy in July !
