I am planning to travel on a one way flight from Santiago Chile to London UK/Dublin Ireland, or nearest possible. I plan to book the flight once I arrive in Rio de Janeiro.
Does anyone have any general tips or advice on the best routes or travel agents to use?
Thanks a million!
Try www.expedia.com to ascertain flight routes and to compare airlines. Then, shop around for discounted prices elsewhere
I flew Iberia from Santiago to Madrid (13 hours) and then connected to Brussels, Belgium. I'm sure Iberia connects to multiple places in the UK. They have very good fares if you're a youth and your ticket is less than 6 months. After 6 months, the fare sky-rockets in comparison.

The most direct way is to flight by British Airways, first from Santiago to Buenos Aires and then to London. If you need more info about cheaper prices write me at firstname.lastname@example.org
