Travelling to Greece with criminal record?

Hello,

I'm planning a birthday trip to Greece in October with my fiancé. I have a criminal record which includes violence from 2011. I have had no issues for nearly 5 years, I'm not on probation or parole and I have a valid Canadian passport. I was wondering if I will have any issues entering Greece for 7 days before I spend $5000 on a trip. Any help, feedback or past experiences will be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,
Stefan

Forgot to say I am from Canada.

If you're visiting as a tourist then as a Canadian you don't require a Visa for stays up to 90 days therefore your criminal record is immaterial.

The US is the only country that can access your "normal" criminal record at Point of Entry.

Have fun.

Cheers,
Terry

I don't know any Canadian tourist who had problems having a bad police record on visiting Greece. Rest assured and enjoy your trip! :)
