Quoting greatjourneys

You can go to Hawaii. If you want to have road map of hawaii then visit my website. You can PM me where I will give you the details about costs, hotels, restaurants, places to visits in Hawaii and all information you need to make your journey great.

Why Hawaii if someone is asking for Asia?
Noticed other forum posts of you and you wonder why the first 3 reactions are deleted..you don't have anything to do with that huh?

Go invest in decent advertising instead of using free spam: it looks cheap and no one wants to book with you

O, and the best places to visit in Asia, in my opinion are the Central Asian countries and Iran. True hospitality, less crowded and you won't see more backpackers than locals.

Personally I absolutely loved Cambodia. Beautiful country with a terrible recent history that you can still see the scars from. I would go back in a heartbeat.

The temples at Angkor Wat are fantastic and well worth a three day ticket - if you time it right you can have them pretty much to yourself. Beautiful beaches in Sihanoukville. Phnom Penh is crazy and somewhat overwhelming but wonderful. A trip to the Killing Fields is harrowing but important to understand what the country has been through.

Food is good and food and drink are cheap. Internal flights are relatively inexpensive. If you're on a really tight budget then bus travel is possible - although a bus I got from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh took over three times the stated time and over quite uncomfortable roads.

It depends what you're interested in I guess! Beaches, partying, culture, history etc... and then finding the place that best suits what you're after

The Original Post was asking about budget travel. Maldives doesn't make that list.

"Which is the best place to visit in Asia? And which is best for budget travel?"

Your bio says you live In Chennai, Tamilnadu, India.

Cheapest will to fly to nearby countries. The further away you travel from India the more you usually pay for plane tickets. I live in Thailand for a good part of the year. There are many Indian tourists that visit that country. In 2014 there were close to a million Indian tourists visit Thailand which is more than the UK, USA, Oz, Germany, etc.

I see all sorts of visitors from India. Huge family groups including old grandparents, uncles, aunts, children. And I see couples on honeymoons and also roving groups of single men too. Something for everyone. Local transportation is good and not that expensive. In comparison, Singapore, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan will be more expensive. Hotels reasonably priced, food good, nightlife and shopping very popular.

Thailand, like Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and Malaysia do get a lot of backpackers with limited funds. They manage to do okay staying in cheaper places and often eating from street vendors, food courts and sometimes picking up food from supermarkets.

Many Indian citizens seem to visit Thailand in 6 or 7 day increments for some reason. But they seem to want to visit so many places that they would need double that time to get it all in. For visa information Google up the Royal Thai Embassy in your city. How long you stay in some countries and if you enter free or pay for a visa depends on the passport you enter with.

For any country you visit find that country on a map first and see where the cities you have an interest in are located. When you make your plans to visit different cities in that country you may have to pay for plane rides because the distance is too great. This travel forum has helpful travel guides you can pull up. Also a basic Google search can produce some valuable information. But with anything you get on a Google type search you still have to research if that info is still accurate.

P.S. I don't think Hawaii would ever qualify for "budget travel" for regular tourists. Nice place to visit but not exactly Asia though.
