I am highly confused!!! I have never heard of such an english...may that be why sometimes I cant understand a word some English people say? Isa, Joz...do people talk like this in the US?

Yes, Anne, they do - and Americans have their own versions of rhyming slang and replacement phrases. I've noticed it more with Southerners than Northerners, but it's there. You need the "eavesdrop" on more conversations!

I heard something on the radio last night that i couldn't help but chuckle at...some bloke was saying about spotting a great looking lady whilst out and then she opens her mouth and it's f*****g this and f*****g that!

He was saying it's not so much the cockney accent and accents of the like-just the common thing-i think you catch my drift, this just made me laugh!

Well, I hear in some Asian countries, if you break some almost unknown local law, you get tossed in the can and execute it without a fair trail so I will be as quiet as a mouse . (ok, now I am just being ignorant).

Dirty Daughter = Water

Hansel and Gretel = Kettle.
Example: "Stick the Hansel on, love, I'm gasping."
