I live in NY and I'm planning my dream vacation for 3 weeks to Asia. I have been many times to Thailand but for this trip I wanted to experience something different.
I'm planning on 10 days in Vietnam and 7 days in Cambodia and I have no idea where to go and how to make the most of these two countries?
The last 7 days will be spent in Phuket chilling and checking out some islands. Also if you had to choose Cambodia or Laos which would you see over the other?
I look forward to hearing from you,
Cambodia & it has to be Angkor Wat - Vietnam & it's Ha Long bay among a million other places - Luang Prabang in Lao is great although not everyones cup of tea -
But for something completely different, go to Myanmar, before everyone else does. Thailand it aint.
Vietnam has many beautiful untouched nature , if within 10 days , you should go to the famous place here : Ha Long Bay , Phong Nha cave , Hoi An Ancient Town , the island of Li Son , Binh Ba Island .... it does not make you disappointed
You should spend more time to visit Vietnam, from North to South need more than 10 days. Many places as Hanoi, Sapa, Halong, Hue, Hoian, Saigon, Mekong Delta..... 3-4 days in Cambodia are enough, I like Siem Reap and spent 2 days tours there..
I suggest you to take some precautions in Vietnam and be safe , but you will enjoy Cambodia and have some fun there ..
