Hi Jordan, Sarah, Kim,

Great to hear from so many of you.

I cant wait to get out there, it will also be my first time travelling alone therefore would be great to hear how your preparation is going, and what your plans are.

Look forward to seeing you's on the other side!

Hey Ryan,

and everyone else I don't really have any plans as such I'm going to take the greyhound bus from Melbourne to Cairns and see where I go picking up work along the way if needed.

I'm starting at the Melbourne F1 so if anyone wants to join me and meet up that would be great.

Hey everyone!

I'm planning to move to Australia in April 2016! Has been a long time coming around and I've decided to head off alone, my friends were taking too long to decide if they wanted to come :p will be heading to Sydney first to visit some family, but I will be heading off soon again to travel and hopefully meet other people along the way :) If anyone is going around the same time shoot me a message would be cool to have a travel buddy :D

Hi all,

I'll be flying out by myself to Perth on 17th Feb then spending the first couple of weeks of March in Melbourne. I'll be heading to Sydney around 10th March and taking the Greyhound from there up the east coast to Cairns!

I'm not going out on a WHV - just a 3 month trip after which I'll be going to SE Asia :) Feel free to drop me a message if we sound like we have potentially similar plans!

Hi All,

Its great to see so many of us are planning to take this trip at the same time and much of our plans overlap so would be great to keep in contact with each other.

Chelsey, I was also planning to visit NZ and Fiji although was not sure whether to go early in the trip or wait until I had had enough of the Australian experience. Is there any reason / benefits to doing it early?

Jordan I am from London, would be great if anyone else is from here.

Emma I am planning to do farm work / fruit picking, i'm quite open to other ideas as long as it is outdoors. Apparently there is lots of jobs available out there and most people settle in a "working hostel" which makes life a lot easier.

I still haven't booked my tickets yet, having reservations about 1. leaving my job and 2. having sufficient funds to go as long as I like and not have to worry about money. What sort of budgets is everyone planning for, and how long do you plan to travel?
