traviling to China soon so I'm in the middle of trying to sort my visa out. Is this website legit ? http://www.chinese-embassy.org.uk/eng/
Do you have to send your passport off with the application as it's telling me ?
Confused.com
Any help would be appreciated 😁🌏

Yes chinese-embassy.org is the real one. The link poster number 2 gave appears to be an agency.

Go in from the link on the UK Government website to be sure:
https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/china

The site you have is correct, however when you apply for your visa it redirects you to the page I have posted. It is not an agency. See for yourself.

My mistake and apologies.

Dodgy websites masquerading as the real visa site is a minefield, that's why I always suggest going in from your official government website.

It's alright, I'm always dubious in relation to dodgy websites myself!

It's also possible to get the visa when in Hong Kong and much cheaper, especially if from UK
