I haven't travelled outside the country, that's why I need your help guys!
Do you have any stories travelling Thailand so that I can read it and use it when time comes.
I'm planning to go there next year. Is it possible to explore from Thailand going Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar without a visa?
And for the transportation...

Hi, Always check at the Embassy website for the country you intend travelling to but the Philippines is part of ASEAN so you could check with your own embassy

This is good for general purposes It will give you an idea.

Or this visa free countries

Happy travels
Steve

You will need a visa for Cambodia,Laos and myanmar

I have been to Thailand and Cambodia, the others are in my list for next year

Cambodia is a visa on arrival, around $20.

Thailand is a lot easier to get around than the other countries, but seat61.com normally has a lot of good confirmation

I used flights in Thailand as was only there for 1 month so was easy and quick for me

Hello matt,
I think since I'm from PH, it is an advantage to us not to get a visa anymore since it is part of south east asia. But thanks anyway, with regards to your experience, where is the best starting point to travel? from Thailand-Cambodia or vice versa?

Thanks.

oh ok, fair enough

you can do it several ways really, i did 2 weeks in thailand, then 5 days in siem reap, then another 8 days back in thailand

i started with a few days in bangkok, then 2 days in kanchanaburi, 7 days in chiang mai/rai/pai/mae hong son, went to cambodia by plane, then back into thailand to koh samui/koh phangan

i used planes for most of the travel though due to my short time there

will be going back next year to do more of thailand and cambodia, amongst other countries

Thanks for sharing your experience Matt!

I think my route for next year will be Thailand-Cambodia-Vietnam, crossed-fingers!
Hope I can visit the best place in there given with a limited time.
