Hi Vern,

I dont think you should come up against too many stumbling blocks there. I rented a car with a group of ppl in San Fransisco, we were 21 at the time, it worked out at just over $100 for each of us for a week (if I remember rightly). There were 5 of us. We had air-conditioning. There wasnt any problem crossing state-lines.

Try this -

Vern,

Samsara's got it about right. Almost any company will give you unlimited mileage when you rent a car. You might be charged an extra fee for being under 25, but i have been renting since I was 22 for work stuff and had few issues... Just be up front when you book the car. Interstate crossing in not controlled in any fashion, so no worries there.

also... any company that doesn't have AC as a standard feature you should tell them to go pound sand and find another booking
