Hi, can anyone recommend any good hostels in Milan for three nights at the end of June/start of July? Preferably clean and with nice bathrooms, in a fairly good location with a very good social side to it and for not more than about 32euros a night. For three girls so not in any kind of dodgy locations and english speaking as are italian isnt exactly amazing. Also can anyone give me any info on which cities we should visit after Milan and that are easy to get to. We're flying home from rome but are not sure what to do between Milan and Rome. Thanks!

Its hard to find good hostels in Milan. La Cordata is quite central - it a dorm set up. Not much atmosphere. About ?15 a night.
Its on Via Burigozzo 11, Corso Italia.

If you can afford a cheap hotel or pension its worth it.

Hotel Arno near the Stazione Centrale has basic rooms but it's clean. It has internet access and you can use the kitchen facilities to wash your clothes, etc. But you will be paying anything up to ?50 ....

Milan is expensive....

I think there is also a HI hostel somewhere but I'm not familiar with it....Ill see if I can find the details for you...

Watch this space...

Here you go:

"Ostello Piero Rotta Viale Salmoiraghi 1 on the corner of Via Martino Bassi tel 02.3926.7095. An institutional?feeling HI hostel housed in a large modern building with a garden, out in the northwest suburbs near the San Siro stadium. Open 7?9am and 3.30?11pm; 12.30am curfew. You can't book ahead, so it's best to arrive early, especially in summer. MM1 to QT8, then a couple of hundred metres straight ahead and the hostel is on your right. ?16 including breakfast"

And I also came across this one:

Piero Rotta Hostel AIG
Via Martino Bassi 2,
20148 Milano
Tel. +39 02 39267095 Fax +39 02 33000191

Hopefully, one of those will suit you!
