Us Canadians keep telling you it's cold and snowy up here, but it's just so you won't come and crowd our beaches:

Toronto in April

At Pearson International Airport, where weather has been recorded for 68 years, the thermometer hit 27C yesterday, shattering the previous record high of 24.4C set in 1976. It wasn't the warmest April day ever measured; Pearson hit 29.6C on April 16, 2002.

Of course, it will be a high of 8C and rainy by Saturday, so life isn't all great.

seems to be heading that way across the country - saskatchewan hit some highs in april as well.. around 28C in april, just crazy....

Same in the Northern US...we had a record high 4 days ago..80F, the next morning the windows were frosted and it was below freezing again :(

Yup, it was the same in Illinois too. Beautiful and 80+F - then in the 40s.

Nah, I put it here on purpose, as really the intent was just to brag about the nice weather we had in Toronto.
