Hello All !

I've decided to make Morocco my first destination for 2016, and looking for a buddy. Small group is ok too ! Open to male or female, and any age (although 40-60 is probably ideal).

Target time is March -April-May, and Id like to stay 2-3 weeks. Id like to take in the usual tourist spots (Marrakech, Fez, Essaouirra), but also some of those less traveled places (Chefchaouen, Meknes, Rabat). And a couple nights sleeping in the Sahara is a must smile

Priority is to experience as much of the native atmosphere as possible - the back alleys, the non-tourist cuisine, meet some engaging locals, and enjoy the local music. A private trip with the ability to wander is ideal, but I'm open to a flexible tour with a small group.

I'm very easy going, great sense of humor, active, fit, and adventurous !

Anyone up for exploring the options ?

John,

Not sure what your plans are, but I'm off to Morocco (only for a week, sadly) over Christmas and our current plan is to hit Chefchaouen, Fes, through the desert - camel trek, sand boarding, the high and middle atlas mountains, etc. - to Marrakech, and then home. We're basically doing a shorter version of what you have planned, on a private tour between Fez and Marrakech, and I'm happy to provide feedback on anywhere we've stayed / any groups we've taken if you drop me a message after the holidays.

Cheers!

Thanks much !! A one week trip there sounds very short, so I hope it works out for you. And yes, if you have any feedback or tips when you return, I'd love to hear :)
