Hey everyone,

I am in need of some advice/help with how to go about applying for a Canadian visa. I am desperate to get over there but I am not so sure how to go about it. Any advice anyone has to offer would be awesome,

Thanks in advance,

Hey guys,

I am from the UK.. Tony that link you gave me is from the IEC.. I have filled out a form with them to be sent an application to apply but they tell me I am not eligible because I dont have a letter from an approved organisation. I am at such a lost end with this right now, I have sent various emails to the Canadian embassy in London to see if they can help.

Hi Grant.

You can do 6 months in Canada as a British citizen without a visa. You will only need one if you are planning on working or staying longer than that. If you do decide to stay for 6 months or even longer then you have to have proof that you have an outward journey booked and paid for and you are leaving the country. I flew into Vancouver, got interrogated by immigration and had to show proof of my onward travel. Fortunately, immigration didn't bother to look inside my ruck sack, which was fortunate, as I had picked an identical bag to mine from the conveyor which belonged to a female, who had packed her underwear on the

Anyway, hope this helps you out.
