Hi everyone,

I am considering teaching english abroad, perhaps in China or Europe but am not sure where to start looking and asking. Would i need any particular qualifications to begin with, aside from a basic degree and if so, would I be able to get it here in Malaysia?
I'd appreciate it heaps if someone could point me in the right direction.

thanks in advance...
Lydia ;)

Hi Lydia,

I'm teaching English in Mexico next year with Teaching and Projects Abroad. I know they have a wide variety of countries to choose from. I am soo looking foward to it!

Ok, much like yourself I have been considering teaching abroad but have not really had a clue where to look. However, yesterday someone told me about this website called www.ajarn.com and i posted my cv on it last night. Today I have woken up to find 4 job offers on my email! Im not sure if they are for real so Im emailing the one's that im interested in. But Id say have a look.

Has anyone ever found a job through this site? Or anyone know anyone that has?

I havnt got any teaching experience so it all seems a bit too good to be true!

I am actually a qualified teacher and would lpove to teach abroad...either supply work or TEFL. I am struggling to know where to start too but then maybe I'm just not that good at researching in the right areas.

Any guidance would be much appreciated. I am looking at New Zealand at the moment!

Ajarn was recommended to me by a TEFL instructor in Thailand. I've know different westerners in Bangkok use it
