I am planning to go to France in December of this year for an art residency. I'll be attending for 2 months, and after that I was thinking of trying to stay in France for a while. I'm looking for any advice on how to find work as a traveler, once I'm already there. And what I need to do before I leave, such as applying for an extended work visa.
I'll be in southern France on the Mediterranean, in Vallurius, but I am interested on traveling all around France.

Hi

Firstly, I have to say that France has unemployment, and there are some strong EU visa / work regulations.

I'm not sure where you are from, if EU it makes it easier.

I've got notes about living & legislation in France here : http://www.the-languedoc-page.com/expat-foyer-information.htm

You can come back with further queries.

Peter
