Hi All;

I would like to take my family of 7 - wife, brother, 2 sons and their wives - on a vacation to a warm place between Christmas and New Year. We range in age from 26 to 60 and in interests from laying on a beach or shopping to hiking, biking, sightseeing and to sailing, fishing, surfing. We would come from Indiana, Los Angeles, and South Carolina. My thought is to stay our nights in one place and travel to nearby destinations for adventure fun. I would like to keep the cost, including airfare, housing, and most food to $10,000 for all of us. For the most part, we are creatures of comfort and not inclined to camping and backpacking.

Ideas for destinations, places to stay, iteneraries?

Thanks for help!

hi..my first idea was la reunion an island close to africa in the pacific ocean. there you will find everything you are looking for. the distances arent that long, so one can lie on the beach during the other goes hiking on 2500m or rafting or whatever. at the end of the day u can all meet up again for dinner. it is beautiful there and you wont miss any comfort,too.
have a nice trip, Cheers!

Well, I was quite surprised with the water at St. George Island in the Gulf off the Florida coast...
