MysticYears has indicated that this thread is about Paris

Does anyone know where you can still Love Lock in Paris? Now that the locks were taken down from the Pont des Arts bridge are there any other places in Paris that you can easily attach your lock to.

Thanks

Roger, the very first destination on your list is where the locks have been removed...

So... Is this question part of a long-term study to compare the usefulness of various travel forums to each other? If so, we must be scoring major brownie points for being the only forum not to immediately berate you on the vandalism of love-locking! Sadly the only substantial reply you got was also a completely useless reply (and - I'm strongly starting to suspect - (spam?)bot-generated), given your actual question, so that's a bit of a downer again...

Sadly I haven't been to Paris since the whole love-locking phenomenon got started, so I have no useful suggestions for you. Although, personally, if I cared for this activity at all, I'd pick someplace obscure and personally meaningful, where the lock would stand some chance to remain for the foreseeable future, rather than being one out of (hundreds of) thousands to be removed by the truckload...

No Sander, not a bot....lol

I am stuck with how many people assumed that I am wanting to engage in some sort vandalism. As I tried point out, I asking if there was a sanctioned Love Lock place... perfectly legal and accepted. My example was the Chinese, with their Love Lock area on the section of the Badaling Great Wall. Perfectly legal, government monitored and self-funded. Instead, while I did get nice cordial responses (thank you), there was also a backlash that was certainly judgmental if not hateful.

Perhaps we can turn our energy to more useful topics... like annoying commercials during our favorite shows, and people that park over the lines in their spaces.
