Hi just wanted to know if anyone has purchased a car inSouth America then traveled through SA is it safe and safe to cross the boarders any advice is greatly apriciated.

Yes...but use common sense and don't drive at night! Maybe a bandit or two on remote highways, but certainly plenty of intoxicated drivers!

If you're an idiot, then no, it's absolutely not safe. If you're an experienced, competent driver and you use common sense you'll be fine.

I was in Chile, i travelled through the whole country in a campervan, i rented it in AndesCampers, they were very helpul with me, it was an incredible trip, and absolutely safe! You must visit Chile at least once in life!
