Hi I am planning on travelling to Asia but I am unsure on the vaccines required and don't want to get ripped off by getting more then needed, could anyone shed some light?

As #5 and https://www.gov.uk/ should help with whatever else is a concern.

For medical advice see your doctor for his or her advice.

I am not familiar with your health care rules but if this link is correct some shots are covered. Unless I am reading this Q & A information wrong.

Some travelers never get any shots and others get the whole shebang. My managed care will pay for my shots so I am prepared for many things.

Hep A&B, Typhoid and Tetanus are some I would recommended. But I'm not a doctor.

There is some Dengue Fever in Thailand and some tourists take precautions but for that I don't think there is a vaccine right now. For Malaria Doxycycline is used by some visitors. (Doxy is cheap in Thailand.) Some preventatives must be started before leaving home. Ask your doctor!!
