I have 3 nights to spend in the Lofoten Islands and I can't wait to go there.
If anyone has any recommendations for places to stay etc., things to do that might not be in the travel guides, etc., I'd love to get them!!
Thanks so much
This is probably in the guidebooks but as no one else has replied :
We went to Reine and did the walk up Reinebringen. Spectacular views. The path begins just after the short road tunnel on the road towards A.
The western half of the peninsula seemed more scenic. We were lucky enough to have clear bright weather, and the scenery was jaw-dropping. (And I'm the guy who said "meh" at the grand canyon!) You're in for a treat.
Thanks Andy I'll be near there.
What time of the year were you there?
I was there in June a couple of years ago. It's the most breathtaking landscape, I hope you have a great time and tell us what you did.
