Hey I'm 24 and female travelling to Australia around 28th may but I have no idea where to start! I was thinking of working as soon as I got there too but I've heard Sydneys super competitive! Whereabouts you flying from jack?

you will have to let me know what you are upto when you get out!
where you flying from?
I never take it for granted that when people ask a question like this, they have the legal right to work in a country. You may have arranged for an appropriate Visa but you haven't said so and you might be surprised how many people think they can just go to a country and start working. So first, you need to clarify that point.
Assuming you will have a WHV or some other kind of Visa that allows you to work, Google is your friend. There is no shortage of websites that cover your question and really no need for anyone to write here what those websites will tell you if you take the time to read them.
