Hi there Helper!
I will be going to Carnival in Rio this year, but would like to head down south to do some serious tango dancing! Can you tell me is Arngentina or Buenos Aires better for dancing?
Also, which is the nicer city?
Thanks a million
Stace

Sorry! I just read what I wrote and it doesn't make sense - what I meant to ask is where is the best place to stay for tango?

Hi

We saw some Tango places at Boca, more than in other places of the city.

Regards,

Aitor

Tango in BA?

La Boca is not the right place. Not too much places, many pickpockets awayting tourists, and the tango you will see is 'for export".
In Av. de Mayo at 800 (three blocks away from Plaza de Mayo)
there is a nice old cafe "Tortoni". The next door at its left is ther
"academia Nacional del Tango". Thered you can ask for a brochure "El Tangauta", with adress and days/time of the +100 places to tango in BA.

If you need mopre info about what to doo/see in BA,
there is a quick reference in one pof the links of
