Hi!
24 year old guy here from the UK planning to travel South East Asia and Australia.

I'm planning on flying out to South East Asia travelling across a number of islands starting in September. I will then be moving on to Australia sometime hopefully end of December or beginning of January where I plan to work and travel.

Looking to meet new travellers or gain any information people think is useful! New to all this so excited but slightly nervous.

Hi!

I'm travelling with my partner in January! 22 and also British! It's going to be our first time aswell! We were thinking of travelling to Sydney working for a few months then travel for a few months!

Wish you luck!

Hiya! :) Our plan is to work a few months, I will probably try and get bar work or just a casual office job? I'm quite nervous about it at the moment! Just in case I don't find a job! To work in bars I think people have to take a course before getting a job in a bar? Do you know about this? X

You need an RSA certificate (Responsible Service of Alcohol), yes. Those aren't valid country-wide, but mostly (?) per-state, so best to get it when you're there and decided on a place you actually want to stay at for a while.

Travelling Asia with friends then off to Australia on my own.
Spoke to a lot of people and they've said it's pretty easy to get work so not worried about that just still undecided on where to settle!
