I have been reading for hours and I have found nothing but expensive companies sending things quickly over seas. I do not need that. A slow boat for a month or two is just fine. I don't know where to find this. It needs to be cheap too. 50 dollars maximum! its going to be around a 5 kg suitcase. Help please!

It might help if you say from where to where?

I apologize I asked the question in the bar before the comments one. I thought I was just supposed to explain it more. Anyway I would like to send a 5-6 kg suitcase from pnom penh Cambodia OR Ho Chi Minh Vietnam to Calgary, Canada OR Saskatoon, Canada. Whatever is cheaper. Please help :)

Well you maybe need to consider what it is reasonable to expect you can find in this regard in 2016.

To send a carry-on sized bag weighing 5kg. from Calgary to Vietnam will cost $140 for Surface Mail and $272 by air. See here: https://www.canadapost.ca/cpotools/apps/far/business/findARate?execution=e1s4

So how do you expect to find a way to do it for $50 in the other direction? Just because you want something doesn't mean it exists.

The weight of the suitcase is 5 kilograms including contents - right? And going from either Cambodia or Vietnam to Canada.

"A slow boat for a month or two is just fine. I don't know where to find this. It needs to be cheap too."

Have you taken this suitcase to a post office and ask how much? Keep it simple and try the post office first. What have you got to lose?

Maybe calculate the value of what you are shipping home vs the cost to get it there! It might be better just to give away some of your cheap stuff! Check the maximum size your country and Vietnam or Cambodia post offices will send.

Good luck.

Shipping stuff across oceans on a slow moving boat is about moving cargo in shipping containers. The basic unit in this business is a 20 ft long container that holds about 40 cubic meters.

This only make sense if you are moving all of your household possessions. No one will handle a single small item. You are best to go with the slowest postal service available.

This is a 32 week old post which the OP never even bothered to return and acknowledge having got any responses to. Why are you guys reviving it? Presumably, the suitcase and the person are long gone.

Where do you live? in the UK or some other place in Europe?
If you live in UK or Europe then 'Send My Bag' is a much better choise than Ryan Air, and it's the best value luggage shipping service in the UK. ;)
