I and my husband are traveling to Australia next week. We will be in Melbourne and Sydney. Looking at the temperature I know it is going to be cold. Could some one help and let me know what are the things we Must pack. This is my first visit to Australia. I am from India.

Thanks a lot!

"Looking at the temperature I know it is going to be cold." - that's relative!

Next Wednesday it's forecast to be a maximum of 28 deg C and a minimum of 18 in Melbourne before it pours down on Thursday - that's a hot summer's day in the UK!

Sydney's forecast for a max of 23 and a min of 16 on Wednesday too. If you're only going for a day, t-shirt and shorts will be fine with a long sleeved sweater for the evenings (and a rain coat for Thursday) but I imagine you're going for at least a couple of weeks. Expect a range of Autumnal weather with associated temperatures and pack layers.

Hi, I am based in Melbourne : ) The weather can get very cold at night and in the early morning, so make sure you bring your jackets. When you arrive Melbourne, you can get a Myki card (it's like the pass for train, tram and bus). Don't forget to bring your camera too as there are so many beautiful places in Australia you can visit. By the way, there is an exhibition you can go if you like the movie "Jurassic World", check this out -snip-

Hope this helps : )
