I don't think I'm breaking any of the TP rules by posting these here; they are for amusement only and I have no stake in any of these sites. Apologies if they're not allowed!

I've found a few geography games which can eat up the hours while you're trying to overcome the jetlag laying on your hostel bed:

Border Brain is free to download onto iPhones or iPads - guess the country as the program draws the map outline; the quicker you guess, the more points you get. And you can play against someone else too.

Seretta can be opened in a browser. Click on the country named in any of the continents, capital cities, flags, US states and tonnes more.

Geoguessr (without the final "e") can also be opened in a browser. You're given five photos taken anywhere in the world and you have to pinpoint on a map where you think each photo was taken - the closer you are, the more points you get. You can move up and down the streets, you can zoom in on road signs or shop names and you can impose your own rules such as no zoom and no roam, just a click on the map.

Anybody got any other good (clean) sites for the times when sleep isn't going to happen?!

Geoguesser is my favourite.
