Hi !! I'm planning a 2 weeks campervan trip to Australia probably from Brisbane to Adelaide next year . Would really appreciate anyone out there who can offer advice and share your experiences . Tq

I consider Brisbane to Adelaide in 2 weeks to be pretty much insane. You'd effectively be doing nothing but driving (five hours or more on the road every other day), hardly having time to see any of the sights, let alone actually experience life in Australia. Hell, Sydney by itself already deserves a week.

I'd strongly recommend you to give yourself double the time, or halve the distance.

Hi Sander ,Thank you for giving some valuable suggestions . As I can only afford to max my vacation for about 2 weeks , I might just halve the distance as suggested . Cheers !!!

There are loads of free attractions on the way I could tell you about of if you're interested. There are loads though so I'll just list my favorites few now: fire dancing in Brisbane (no experience necessary, but bring a hat if you have hair; don't worry, it's a cold flame so you won't catch on fire unless you purposely try to and even then it'll take a while), Crystal creek (great swimming hole aslidinging rock as well as a lovely fresh, organic fruit and vegetable stand nearby that's really cheap), camilla beach (fantastic place to look for sea shells at low tide, found some bigger than my foot!, also a free camping spot), koala hospital in port macquarie (free tours at 15.00 every day too), mt scoria (singing rocks), and chillagoe (caves, balancing rock, aboriginal cave paintings, and more). Those are 100% free (minus the fruit stand) and I know of a total of 37 free attractions in Queensland and 52 in NSW if you're interested in more. (:
