We are looking for travel buddies who wants to join our trip around the West Coast. We have already booked our flights. We fly to LA on 25th Aug from London and fly back 26th Sept (32 days).
This is the plan but we will stop in-between these places:
San Fran, CA (Marin+Napa)
Olympic National Park, WA
Seattle + Cascade Loop
Page, AZ (Grand Canyon, Antelope + others)
We want to rent a car for the entire trip and accomm will be a mix of motel/hostels/hotels/airbnb and camping. We want to do a mixture of things. Ideally we want someone who is 25 yrs old, that can drive and can do the whole trip (we will consider someone who wants to do parts).
If you are interested, get in contact. Do tell me some stuff about yourself and what you would like to do on the trip. Thanks x
It may be of use to you to know that not all car rentals charge a 'drop off' charge for one way rentals in that area. Some rental companies allow one way rentals between California, Nevada and Arizona for example without it costing you anything extra.
The obvious advantage of that is that you do not need to plan a trip that returns to your arrival point. That in turn gives you more flexibility in planning a route.
Your itinerary sounds great!
I'm looking to do something similar, however I could only manage to 2 weeks off. So looking to fly in around 26th and out by Sept 10th (haven't yet booked anything so flexible cities).
I'm 25 years old, female and from London.
Unfortunately I can't drive... but definitely happy to chip in for fuel etc.
Look forward to hearing back!
Just to let you know, we have a full car now. Sorry.
