Hello everyone!! I will be using this thread to post messages from my trip for the benefit of all TP'rs. After all my research, I have many options for accomodations, treks, transportation between Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam so I will make my recommendations based on my experience. I am sure many of you will appreciate it.

I havent been posting as much lately since I have to work like a mad woman before I leave . I promise that will soon change...in the meantime, you can post your questions, comments and greetings here for me.

I will be thinking of you guys!! And Isa, I will have martini in your honor (if I can find one) .

PS. Hien, I will let you know if I end up with enough days to come to KL for at least a couple of days. We will be playing it by ear, hopefully I will be able to come and see you. ;)

I will start with what I packed (and later on I will let you know what I did not need or viceversa) :

- Tank Tops (6) 100% cotton
- T-Shirts (2) 100% cotton (for some temples you must have covered shoulders).
- Long sleeve (2) 100% cotton (for the hill tribe treks)
- 2 shorts
- 2 pair of pants
- Underwear, bras (1 of each) (just kidding)
- 15 protein bars
- Mosquito Repellant (for outdoor use, up to 15 feet diameter)
- 2 Deet
- 1 Avon So Soft Bug Repellant
- Tissue Paper
- Toilet Paper
- Quick Dry Towel
- 6 dry bags (I put my clothes in there, air tight, it bundles the clothing further giving you more space).
- 1 big bag for dirty clothes
- 6 pairs of socks
- Camera + camera equipment (for pic download)
- Travel Converter (for the camera)
- Passport/Money/Credit Cards (all in a pack that hangs around my neck)
- Prescriptions: Anti-bacterial (prescribed by dr), anti-diarreal, anti-malaria (which I am already taking), Tylenol, Imodium and Peptobismol
- Small First Aid Kit
- Toiletries: Shampoo, Body Wash, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, a little bit of make up
- Sewing Kit and safety pins
- Sandals (for when I get tired of wearing my hiking shoes)
- Bathing Suit
- One light jacket (wind breaker, they dont take a lot of space)
- Small backpack for day time travel.
- Sunglasses, hat (visor)
- Flashlight
- Alarm Clock
- Pen/Paper
- Extra pairs of contact lenses and cleaner
- 3 bandanas
- A pillow case (it has been recommended by some in TP, I will see how much truth there is to it)
- Padlock
- Hair clips (to keep my hair up)
- My custom travel plan (with numbers, contacts, places to visit). I created this little book with all the info I've received primarily from TP and all the recommendations I was able to find from different people and sources.

I think that it is!

And yes, this is all in a single backpack and it isnt the biggest backpack around either...pictures to come...
