I am a cheesehead wannabe...so I only care about the Super Bowl if the Packers are in it;)

Do you wear the cheezehead during games???

I think it's on TV in Australia as well, but at such an odd hour that not many people really watch it. I never have at least.

If you go to the NFL website, they actually list all the countries that the SuperBowl is played on TV in and what station. I know this because I have started watching Super Bowls in different countries every year.

I didn't plan to, but in 2004 I was in Costa Rica watching the Super Bowl and I realized that I had watched the last 4 Super Bowls in 4 different countries.

So in 2005, when I was planing my my vacation in Tanzania, one of the things I considered was when Super Bowl was being played. I checked to see if the game was being played in Tanzania - it was on ESPN International.

However, come the day of the game, it was not on the ESPN that was on the TV in the hotel. I was on Zanzibar, and we were getting a feed from India instead of from mainland Tanzania. So I missed the game last year.

Anyway, if you are really bored and want to read about it, check out my Super Bowls Around the World travelogue.

Being a former British colony, SuperBowl is not televised in Malaysia at all. It's not even shown on the satellite channels here.

I think if you go to the street and ask a person about SuperBowl, the answer you'll get is most likely, "Huh?", or they will have no interest in it at all.

It's the same case here in Singapore, i believe. I don't watch it even though it's on ESPN cable here. I think only the American expats here are willing to get up so early to watch it. They show the odd NFL games but i just dont bother since i dont even know the rules of the game. More likely, people here are more interested in Janet Jackson's "wardrobe malfunction" than the game itself.
