I'm driving the Pan American Highway from Turbo, Colombia to Ushuaia, Argentina and then heading to Rio for New Years. I've done some pretty mega overland trips in some remote places but I fancy a bit more of a cultural rather than adventure focused although I'll be bringing rock climbing/abseiling/canyoning kit.
I'm shipping a vehicle and kit from the UK and all expenses are covered fuel, and logisitics wise. The car is modified for overland (long range fuel tanks, storage, jacks, compressors etc) and I'll be bringing med kits, BGAN, sat comms, trackers etc and I have a vague itinerary below. From Ushuaia we would fly to Rio for New Years.
I've travelled alot to alot of places focusing on guiding expeditions mainly with clients and for work purposes but this trip is purely pleasure and I want to use the vehicle as a platform to explore in a general southerly direction until we run out of land, then celebrate our pioneer spirit in Rio.
I've got 2 spare seats currently. It'd be great to get a few others involved, especially people interested and experienced in photography and ideally over 21 so they can drive. I'm bringing a drone and the car has mounted go-pros. I've got a vague idea for using the footage so anyone interested in film production would be ideal.
