Hi! I'm currently in Koh Samui on my own and will also continue to Koh Phangan. I don't have much planned and am just taking it one day at a time. Any suggestions of what to see? Where to go? Where to meet people also travelling solo like me? Or groups too? Would be nice to catch a few beers and go on a tour with a group of people also out here like me!

I accidentally booked a hotel which is pricy and is full of couples on honeymoons and families hahah so would be nice to meet more people like me 😄

There was a post from a guy heading for the FMP just recently.

There are a few posts from women traveling alone. Do a search and read some, perhaps some have similar dates.

Google search will produce some links for how to get from Koh Samui to Koh Phangan. (Sample below.)

In Phuket and other big cities like Bangkok there are many shared tour activities provided by local travel agencies. Select tour one day and leave following morning.

Stop in a local travel agency and see what they can do for you. On shared tours you do meet other tourists, etc.

"Any suggestions of what to see?"

Google search will give you quite a few more links for "see and do" activities.

Good luck.
