So ive finally pursuaded my boyfriend to come to Thailand with me, thinking about going for 3 weeks:
Bangkok 2 nights
Koh Sok Park 2 nights
Krabi 2 nights
Koh phi phi 2 nights
Kuala Lumper 2 nights
Singapore 2 nights
Does anybody have any ideas of what to do in this places?
not too much time for so many places.
drop kho phi phi - consider penang and melaka
I think it's a lot of destinations with only short distances in each. Maybe you can have one as a 'potential' destination and cut it out of the planning if it works out that way. I tend to do that and if I like it somewhere, can stay longer and not worry about messing up a schedule
Bangkok - definitely go to the Grand Palace, Wat Po, a walk down Patpong I or Patpong II, or both (red Light district), I liked the red cross snake farm (get to watch barefoot guys running through a cobra infested pit milking snakes) but try to arrive right before the show so you don't have to stick around too long, Wat Arun (avoid all the opportunists trying to charge you for photos with snakes), a walk through china town, and a massage at the school in Wat Po
Krabi - sea kayaking and rock climbing maybe a trip to James Bond Island (Man with the Golden Gun)
Koh Phi Phi - lay on beach or walk to the top of the hill
Kuala Lumpur - I wouldn't even stop here. You can go to the sky bridge in the Petronas Towers but it is not open everyday and has strange times.
Singapore - the night zoo is a must. It is by far the best thing worth seeing in Singapore, the botanical gardens are also nice to walk through.
Eventhough I am a Malaysian, I don't really recommend KL as your destination. As a stop-by station is okay but further than that doesn't pay you well really. Why don't you choose Penang or Malacca instead? Any questions about Malaysia (including Sabah and Sarawak you can refer me) is mostly welcomed. 2 days in Bangkok? Oh! I do hope you might get ready to change your itinerary as well, make it flexible ok. 2 days in Bangkok??? Should spend more time there...Royal Palais is one of the finest palace in the world...but be careful with the foodlets by the road - dirty and unhygenic! (Many people complaint this). I'll tell you - for food paradise - Penang, Ipoh and Malacca in Malaysia are mouth-watering!!! Asam Laksa and Ice Kacang in Penang Road and many 'niche' local-made cookies along west-coastal alongside Peninsular Malaysia is splendid! There's a kind of Chinese chicken rice in 'balls' is very famous in Malacca and also the satay in Kajang, Selangor; Bak Kut-Teh, another chinese cuisine in Klang, Selangor;
Too many different cuisine from Bangkok to Singapore...rich in language, culture and gastronomy...
