It's hard to suggest places from the whole continent. They all have really unique culture and places. I've visited most of them. I'd say Brazil is the most alluring for its diverse climate, beautiful beaches, amazing culture, big cities and remote towns. Some of the best places to visit in Brazil are Tangue park, Pelourlnho, Jalapeno state park, Iguazu Falls, Guanabara Bay, and Amazon rainforest.

Few other places worth traveling would be:

Coroico, Bolivia
San Pedro de Atacama, Chile
Buenos Aires, Argentina
Copocabana, Bolivia
Cusco, Peru
Isla de la Luna, Bolivia
Punta del Este, Uruguay

Enjoy your trip
Happy Journey :)

I do agree with crainandrea22. Brazil is a gem. It offers an amazing variety of ecosystems and landscapes, as well as tons of options for hikers and wildlife seekers.

If you want to see something a bit different, the interior of Brazil is absolutely gorgeous and is definitely worth a visit. - snip -

Last year we did a road trip combining South Mexico, Belize and Guatemala. We found it a great combination. Together you have nature, architecture, history and living culture to experience. Costa Rica is great for nature, but there isn't much in the way of architecture. While I haven't been myself I have frequently been told Nicaragua is great for nature and its town of Granada is apparently an architectural gem.

Teoni... What a shame you do not have a blog here. Your trip sounds cool. Something I'd like to do.

Well if I get some time I might write it up. Too be honest I'm still trying to learn the features on this site. I've only just figured out how to use the map feature But if you have any questions about travelling around those places feel free to message me and I'll do my best to answer:)
